We are pleased to announce the release of the final project video for the TO_AITION EU-funded research programme, now available for viewing on YouTube. The video was powered by partner Exelixis, leader of the Dissemination, exploitation and awareness activities Work Package, supporting the dissemination and communication of project results to wider audiences.
This video provides a comprehensive overview of the project’s aims, methodology, and key outcomes following six years of multidisciplinary research. It summarises the scientific advances achieved by the consortium in understanding the complex biological links between cardiovascular disease (CVD) and depression, illustrating how integrated data-driven strategies and experimental models have contributed to unraveling immune-metabolic mechanisms underlying comorbidity.
Through the video, partners from the TO_AITION consortium share how the project has advanced their scientific work, providing new insights into cardiovascular and mental health research. They highlight the value of cross-disciplinary collaboration, describing how engaging with experts from different fields opened up new research perspectives, strengthened experimental approaches, and fostered innovative solutions to complex challenges. The project not only supported concrete scientific achievements, such as identifying biomarkers and elucidating causal pathways, but also created a unique platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and building collaborations that will continue to benefit European biomedical research.
The final TO_AITION project video highlights how the project advanced knowledge, fostered cross-disciplinary learning, and generated actionable insights into complex disease multimorbidity.
